We're seeking a meticulous professional to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for 500+ employees across multiple states. Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits enrollments with 100% accuracy
- Conduct quarterly and annual payroll audits, reconciling GL accounts
- Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and HR within 24 hours
- Collaborate with HRIS team to implement payroll system upgrades
- Prepare year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) and support IRS/FUTA filings
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee financial data
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, ERISA, and state labor laws
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
