Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll and ensure tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with monthly and annual financial audits.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to track financial data and generate insights.
- Maintain organized filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
