Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse SMB clients
- Reconcile accounts payable/receivable and bank statements monthly
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation packages
- Implement QuickBooks optimization strategies for efficiency
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial forecasting and analysis
- Lead month-end closing processes with zero-error tolerance
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and CA state regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with multi-state tax filing (CA preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with 100% accuracy track record
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Familiarity with construction/tech industry accounting
