Luminex Finance Group is seeking a dedicated Night Shift Accountant to join our high-performing finance department. As a Night Shift Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and supporting our operational success.
Responsibilities
- Process and post daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Maintain and update financial documentation and digital records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation procedures.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (typically 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
