Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and posting to the general ledger.
- Perform 3-way matching of POs, receiving reports, and invoices to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Manage vendor relations by responding to inquiries, resolving billing issues, and maintaining accurate vendor master data.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate variances to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all accounts payable documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable processing.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and accurately with high volumes of data during night shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule.
