As a Night Shift Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial integrity by managing daily transactions and reporting during off-peak hours. This role offers the perfect balance of technical challenge and a predictable schedule.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily accounts payable and receivable processing with 100% accuracy.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial reports are generated on time.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions to maintain and audit complex spreadsheets.
- Review and verify invoices against purchase orders to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and file necessary tax documents and government reports.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless workflow transition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to detect discrepancies quickly.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
