Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions within established deadlines
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client review
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for assigned client portfolios
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring activities
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations (IRS, Ohio state)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies
- Proven track record of meeting financial reporting deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
