Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts for Texas-based clients
- Process monthly payroll and tax filings for US operations
- Generate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) adhering to US GAAP standards
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare VAT returns and support annual audits for US entities
- Collaborate with US-based tax specialists on compliance matters
- Implement and optimize accounting software for multi-currency operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience with US clients
- Proven expertise in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table proficiency
- Relevant accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/CMA preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for transatlantic collaboration
- Experience with multi-currency accounting systems
