Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses for executive review
- Maintain and optimize QuickBooks Online with advanced customization features
- Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals during compliance cycles
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial data integrity and regulatory compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with zero-tolerance for errors
- Develop customized financial reports for client decision-making support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel (VBA/macros), and accounting software
- Proven track record of managing complex financial cycles and audits
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and industry compliance standards
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance analysis and forecasting
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, Xero Advisor) highly desirable
