Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, month-end and year-end close procedures, and tax filings.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, providing regular reports to management.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Certification as a CPA or CMA is a plus but not required.
