We specialize in providing top-tier financial management services to a diverse portfolio of clients, and we need a detail-oriented individual to help us maintain our standard of excellence.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the accurate recording of financial transactions, ensuring our clients' books are always up-to-date. You will work closely with our accounting team to prepare financial statements and support the preparation of tax returns.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reporting.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll and manage employee benefits administration.
- Prepare and generate monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with year-end audits and quarterly tax filings.
- Maintain and organize financial documents and records in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to manage client accounts efficiently.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proven proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) are highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies immediately.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
