Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day will involve managing the full cycle of bookkeeping for our clients. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports that drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly with high accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries, adjusting entries, and accruals.
- Generate financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
- Communicate with clients to clarify financial data and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related fields.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Pro, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
