Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely payments
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for diverse client portfolios
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for operational efficiency
- Coordinate annual audits and maintain compliance with GAAP standards
- Provide financial insights to guide strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong knowledge of California tax regulations and payroll requirements
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly desirable
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies
