Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees using [Insert Software Name].
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and monthly financial reports.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax schedules.
- Organize and maintain financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping (Preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage software (Must be proficient).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
