Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate recording of transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial reports.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure all tax filings are completed timely.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax preparers as needed during year-end audits.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
