Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of financial transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, product information, and resolving service issues.
- Cross-sell banking products such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards to meet branch goals.
- Perform daily cash balancing, reconcile the teller drawer, and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all branch operational standards.
- Collaborate with branch managers and team members to improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior banking or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Must pass a background check and obtain necessary banking certifications.
