Responsibilities
- Execute financial transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Build lasting relationships with customers by greeting them warmly and understanding their banking needs.
- Resolve customer issues and inquiries promptly while adhering to strict compliance and security policies.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for banking products and services.
- Ensure the accuracy of daily cash reports and balance the teller drawer at the end of the shift.
- Assist in branch operations, including opening and closing the lobby and maintaining a tidy, professional environment.
- Stay updated on bank policies, procedures, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior teller or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and POS terminals.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and obtain necessary banking licenses.
