Responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and resolving account issues.
- Cash checks and verify checks for authenticity.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions.
- Sell bank products and services, such as savings accounts and debit cards.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller line area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a bank teller or in a cash-handling role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of basic arithmetic and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
