Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor relationships
- Prepare financial statements and month-end closing reports
- Handle payroll processing and tax filings (multi-state experience a plus)
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Assist with annual audits and financial compliance documentation
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) a significant advantage
