Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including P&L and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and year-end audits.
- Implement and maintain accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to optimize workflow.
- Communicate financial status, updates, and concerns to management stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Proven track record of maintaining confidential financial records.
