Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage bank reconciliations and ensure cash flow accuracy
- Oversee tax compliance and quarterly filings
- Implement and optimize accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Xero)
- Collaborate with CFO on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Audit support and documentation preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a deadline-driven environment
