Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Process and categorize monthly transactions with a focus on accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and generate financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and ensure all tax deadlines are met.
- Reconcile credit card statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with clients to provide financial insights and improve their bookkeeping systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Bookkeeper or Accountant in a professional services environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required; NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Google Workspace.
- Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax filings is highly desirable.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts effectively.
