Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations while maintaining organized digital filing systems
- Collaborate with CFOs to develop financial forecasts and support budget planning processes
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Proven track record of month-end closing and financial reporting accuracy
- Deep understanding of sales tax compliance and Texas state financial regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial data interpretation
