Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow operations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 15-20 clients
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation and financial forecasting
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel for advanced data analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, payroll tax regulations, and California compliance
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in financial statement analysis
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements in accounting systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions
