Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Process monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledgers
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for multiple entities
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly and annual reviews
- Train junior staff on accounting software and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Proven experience with multi-state entity accounting
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation required
- Exceptional attention to detail with error prevention skills
- Strong client communication and presentation abilities
