Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) with analytical insights
- Coordinate with tax accountants for quarterly and annual filings
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
- Utilize Excel for advanced financial modeling and reporting
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices and software
Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification highly valued
- Experience with sales tax reporting and multi-state compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy in financial records
- Strong communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
