Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions efficiently and accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving complaints, and guiding clients to appropriate banking solutions.
- Identify and cross-sell financial products, such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards, to meet branch sales goals.
- Maintain accurate daily cash balances and reconcile ATM and night depository logs.
- Assist in the opening and closing of the branch, ensuring security protocols and cash limits are met.
- Operate standard bank software and point-of-sale systems to manage customer accounts.
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance standards, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous banking or cash handling experience is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy in cash handling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and bank-specific software (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and some evenings.
- Must pass a background check and a credit check as required for financial positions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
