Responsibilities
- Process Customer Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding products and services, and resolve account-related issues efficiently.
- Product Cross-Selling: Proactively identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions, such as savings accounts or credit cards, to help them achieve their financial goals.
- Account Management: Assist in opening new accounts and maintaining accurate records of daily transactions in the core banking system.
- Cash Handling: Maintain the cash drawer, balance daily reports, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and security procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or cash handling is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Math Skills: Strong aptitude for basic arithmetic and financial calculations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling money and processing data.
