Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process complex multi-state payroll and tax filings
- Implement and maintain robust accounting systems (QuickBooks Online)
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Provide strategic financial insights to business owners
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience
- CPA or Associate's degree in Accounting required
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll systems
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance
