Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with strict deadline adherence
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation packages
- Implement QuickBooks solutions for client accounting systems
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews
- Train junior staff on accounting software protocols
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Expertise in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Texas CPA license preferred
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Proficient in Xero and Sage Intacct platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
