Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process complex payroll, accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage multi-entity accounting systems and month-end closes
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly filings
- Lead training for junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (NetSuite/Sage)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
