Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity general ledger systems with 100% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles including payment processing and collections
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Implement and optimize internal controls for financial operations
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Lead month-end closing procedures with strict deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel with VBA
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Proven experience managing multi-state payroll systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
