Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis to ensure data accuracy.
- Process payroll entries and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit & loss statements, for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (3+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
