Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Prepare and manage financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and payroll processing.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track and organize financial data.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online (strongly preferred) or Xero.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but equivalent experience is accepted.
