Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card balances to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online and ADP.
- Prepare and generate monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for client documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a remote or hybrid setting.
