Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure data accuracy.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support year-end financial audits.
- Organize and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is current and organized.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero accounting software is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
