Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll coordination
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations (Sales/Use, Payroll)
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial workflow efficiency
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly reviews and annual audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proven expertise in managing multi-client portfolios in a service-based environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
- Familiarity with sales tax filing and payroll processing (ADP/QuickBooks Payroll)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
