The Role:
As our Bookkeeper, you will handle the day-to-day financial operations that keep our business running smoothly. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, and payroll records.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation support.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Pro, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
