Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse business clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process multi-state payroll and tax compliance filings
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online and Xero systems
- Collaborate with CPA firms for audit preparation and tax planning
- Develop customized financial dashboards for client reporting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online/Xero certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proficiency in Excel with pivot table mastery
- Texas sales tax and multi-state payroll compliance expertise
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transaction processing
- Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Experience with SaaS industry accounting preferred
