Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions and perform accurate bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and reports.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices efficiently.
- Assist with payroll processing and quarterly/annual tax filings.
- Reconcile credit card statements and review expense reports.
- Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
