Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable collections.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the tax team to prepare financial statements for audits.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) is mandatory.
- Experience with NetSuite or SAP is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
