Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex multi-currency accounts using Xero and QuickBooks
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for diverse portfolio
- Oversee VAT returns and HMRC compliance submissions
- Manage payroll processing and pension auto-enrolment
- Lead month-end closing procedures with zero-tolerance for errors
- Collaborate with auditors during statutory examinations
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial workflows
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent with 5+ years' bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in Xero, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record in multi-currency accounting systems
- Deep understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation skills
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Experience managing team of 2+ junior bookkeepers
