Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure HMRC compliance
- Assist with VAT returns and tax preparation
- Support audit processes and financial reporting
- Train junior accounting staff on financial systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years' bookkeeping experience in a UK setting
- ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proven experience with multi-currency transactions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
