Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks/Xero for 15+ SME clients
- Prepare monthly management accounts and VAT returns
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
- Process payroll and manage employee expense reimbursements
- Generate financial reports for stakeholder reviews
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
- Collaborate with auditors during annual compliance reviews
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero and Excel
- AAT Level 4/ACA/CMA qualification preferred
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with error detection skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
