Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for clients
- Manage bank reconciliations and ensure transactional integrity
- Oversee sales tax filings and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with tax professionals on quarterly/annual reporting
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
- Act as primary client contact for financial inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Proven knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
