Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and detect discrepancies.
- Process payroll for all employees in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Reconcile credit card statements and handle expense reports.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax preparers during annual reviews.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
