Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using Xero and QuickBooks
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management accounts
- Handle VAT returns, payroll processing, and CIS compliance
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and control accounts
- Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls
- Assist with year-end accounts preparation and audit liaison
- Provide proactive financial insights to clients
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in bookkeeping or financial accounting
- Proven expertise with Xero and QuickBooks platforms
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- AAT Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification essential
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
