Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions within established SLAs
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance filings
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support audits and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Implement process improvements for financial workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (Advanced functions)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multi-client portfolios
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities for client interactions
