Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ SME clients
- Process monthly payroll and reconcile pension contributions
- Prepare management accounts and VAT returns
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years UK-based bookkeeping experience
- AAT Level 4 or equivalent accounting qualification
- Advanced proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Excel expertise with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Proven experience with multi-currency transactions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with 100% accuracy record
