Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely vendor payments
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for clients
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple businesses
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Implement and improve accounting systems and internal controls
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparation documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with high-level professionalism
